Find Another Route


Okay, maybe the route you are taking now is the "result" of trial and error to find the route that is least congested. Traffic jams are already effective in saturating you, so why not try taking the commuter line or busway ? According to studies, a new approach in your daily activities will rejuvenate your brain. "One of the keys to brain health is changing routines," says Paul Nussbaum, PhD, author of Save Your Brain. It wouldn't hurt to try, right ?


Take a Walk


Your job is 9 to 5, but that doesn't mean you can only stand at lunch or when you get home. Seriously, many studies reveal that sitting for too long carries a big risk to your health (they even call it “ the silent killer ”). So get up, and walk either down the hall or you can just into the lobby or outside the building for a breath of fresh air. Invite your colleagues (who are not busy) so that at least you have someone to talk to to discuss the hot topic of the day.
