| Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro Revealed, The Downforce Is Crazy! |
After official images of the wilder Valkyrie leaked online, Aston Martin acted quickly and immediately released a teaser for the new variant of the hypercar.
As it turns out, the version in question is the Valkyrie AMR Pro, which we first saw three years ago, at the Geneva Motor Show.
However, if the then was a concept, we are now looking at the production version.
Compared to the 2018 version, the final specification of the Valkyrie AMR Pro does not use a hybrid setting to reduce weight.
However, output drops from the concept car's combined 1,100+ horsepower, to 1,000hp produced exclusively by the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine.
Built by Cosworth, the engine revs up to 11,000 rpm and is described as an "internal combustion masterpiece".

The applied diet does more than eliminate the hybrid configuration. Aston Martin is also developing a full carbon fiber body, even a carbon suspension wishbone.
Additionally, the Perspex windshield and side windows also help reduce excess weight to maximize the performance of this track-specific hypercar.
Compared to the road version of the Valkyrie, the AMR Pro has double the downforce thanks to the extreme aero package which allows lateral acceleration of over 3G.
The car has also been stretched by 266 millimeters (10.5 inches) compared to its street legal variant, and the overall length has increased by around 380 mm (15 inches).
Then, the front and rear tracks are wider (+96 mm and +115 mm respectively), while the underbody has undergone changes for optimal airflow.
Aston Martin says the modifications help the Valkyrie AMR Pro generate "exceptional levels of downforce," which is also made possible by improving the airflow over the wings.
