After a long time only circulating posters, the Bugatti Divo supercar has finally been exhibited at the Pebble Beach Concours and it is perhaps one of the most radical looking Bugattis ever.
Here are 5 things you need to know about the Bugatti Divo :
1 . The new Bugatti Divo will be made in a very limited number of 40 units worldwide and priced at 5 million euros or above Rs 40 Crore for each model.
2 . At the moment only qualified owners can get a Bugatti Divo in their hands and as they expected, even at a price of around 5 million euros, 40 units were sold out even before the release.
3 . The Divo was developed based on the Chiron and shares the same 8-liter quad-turbo with a W16 engine that makes a maximum speed of 1479 bhp and can run 0-100 kmph in just 2.4 seconds! However, the Divo only has a top speed of 380 kmph, slower than the Chiron which can reach 420 kmph.
4 . The advanced aerodynamics package on the Divo makes it look cool and in fact it helps add 90 kg of downforce compared to the Chiron. Although overall Divo weighs 1.005 pounds (about 455.8 kg). Even with the addition of the aerodynamic package, the Divo is still 34 kg lighter than the Chiron.
5. The name Divo wasn't taken at random for Bugatti's newest supercar. This is a tribute to the legendary racer, Alberto Divo, who won two consecutive Targa Florio in 1928 and 1929 driving a Bugatti Type 35.
