Admittedly, everyone has bad habits that are difficult to avoid. However, you should start to stop doing the bad habits below, because it turns out that these habits can damage your career!

Always Be Negative

Gossiping, whining, or complaining may become a habit in the office. Even though it can threaten your job. Amy Hoover, president of Zoo Talent, explains that an employee who is always negative will be considered the “cancer” on the team. This of course makes colleagues and even the boss uncomfortable working with you.

Come too late

Ladies , stop your habit that often comes late to the office. Arriving late will give a bad impression for the company. This seems to show that you don't care about the job you have. Not only that, employees who arrive late will be considered as someone who is careless and unreliable.

Social Media Addiction

While at the office, how many times do you open social media? Five times, ten times, or maybe so often that it interferes with work? This habit is not a good thing to do while in the office, you know. Believe it or not, social media addiction can get someone fired. Companies think that social media addiction will make a person unable to complete a job well.

Not polite

Courtesy is important, and when you're in the office, it's no exception. Simple things like saying “please” when asking for help or “thank you” when someone else gives something become mandatory. Someone will definitely be more comfortable working if you can respect them by being polite to them.

Too Independent

Being independent is indeed needed in some situations, especially when you have to concentrate fully on getting work done. However, generally, someone who can work in a team will be preferred. There's nothing wrong with helping a coworker every now and then. At least support them by giving advice. This shows that you care and appreciate their existence.
